The VEM-100 Transmission-type Smoke Limit Meter is a portable intelligent instrument for detecting visible pollutants in the exhausts (exhaust smoke) of compression ignition (diesel) engines. It conforms to the GB 3847-2018 standard Limits and Measurement Methods for Emission from Diesel Vehicles under Free Acceleration and Lugdown Cycle. It can execute continuous sampling of visible pollutants in exhaust from diesel vehicles or diesel engines, and carry out real-time monitoring of optical absorption coefficient, optical absorption ratio (opacity) or other coefficients. Equipped with independent intelligent terminal for operation, it can realize remote control of the instrument and bring about simple operation.
